Firesuits optional??
I was looking at the pictures from 04-11-09 and I noticed the driver of the number 33 did not have a full firesuit on in victory lane. What is the deal with that??
That would be a dq for sure at any other track. Very dangerous stuff there.

I agree, that is a risky move for the driver not to wear a full firesuit. Never know when a fire could break out.

Re: Firesuits optional??
I think it is optional to wear a firesuit at FC but I hear it is mandatory to wear a clown suit once every three races. haha

Re: Firesuits optional??
In all honesty though I really think drivers should think about the risk involved...i mean i wouldn't want to put my life in danger for not wearing the right protective equipment. In speedway motor's catalog you can get a 1 peice drivers suit, shoes, gloves, and even a neck brace for $194.99. The 2 peice is a little cheaper...but it is an affordable and reasonable price with all that could happen racing.

Re: Firesuits optional??
Me personally I wouldn't race without a full race suit on. But if the track doesn't care then thats up to the driver to take that risk or not. but i bet that the tracks insurance wouldn't like that at all!
Re: Firesuits optional??
thats 100% correct the track does have insurance!!!

"tun-od" and Cueball101...... Since you two talk about clown suits and clown shoes so much , maybe you should invest in some.
If you think that is what got 8 Ball in the winners circle maybe it will get you atleast in the RACE....
Great job 8 Ball , keep up the good work and lets see if the " Clowns" Cueball 101 and tun-od can put on their clown faces and show up at FCS.
Doesn't look like 8 Ball has to hide.... I found him in Victory Lane Last Week....

Re: Firesuits optional??
Yea you guys can put down on me and whoever cueball is, but if we say something you dont like, we get hassled. Everytime someone asks about insurance thats the only answer that they get, "ask dennis or whitey." Come on, who is it through, or what is the telephone # we can call to verify. And look, there's no use giving me a hard time about this post, just give me a # where I can verify and I will post on here that it is true, a + for FC. And racing4fun, I was there last night, I saw the 8ball with a much faster car wreck a guy for the lead in the first couple of laps. Admit it, he could have been much more patient, there was only a total of what, 4 cars?

Re: Firesuits optional??
I was at the race last night also. I think this Young driver is Racing.... He has been a very patient and clean driver that has put up with other drivers blocking him and running him up the track. He had a great car last night. I know Racing is Racing and that is what he was doing.
When you put slow cars in front of fast cars this is what happens . ( Maybe the track needs to stop pulling numbers to invert the field)
What I do not know is why the # 33 Caldwell... felt the need to get in a U car after his car was unable to return to the track and try to run the rest of the RACE.... To a fan in the stands it looked like he may have been after the number 8 ..
or maybe he was point racing ???
What was the #33 thinking.. I don,t think you can start the race with one car , pit and get into another car ( a U car ) and return to the race

That race track in Callaway is heading down the wrong path again. It is such a shame.

because quite frankly its the best answer you can get!!! Because with the new privacy laws that we have if you had the insurance name chances are they wouldnt give you any info for the simple fact you are not the policy holder!! I mean you can call statefarm and ask about mine if you want but i guarantee they aint gonna tell ya squat!!!!
I know if you u ask either whitey or dennis for proof they would give it to ya!!!! They have ins and provided proof to Tanglewood Mall for the car show!! Am I not right on that one FCS Encyclopedia?????

I think and I may be wrong but Jones-Brpwn Motorsports out of Kentucky is the insurance company for FCS. I am not 100% sure on that though.

Re: Firesuits optional??
If the officials in the pits do their job you would not climb in that car to race without the full suit on. Oh wait, it is FCS....
