Franklin County Speedway Bojangles - Inspection Report

Inspection Information:
Facility Type: Seasonal Fast Food Restaurant
Inspection type: Routine
Inspection date: May 11, 2009
Number of critical violations: 1
Number of non-critical violations: 0

Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code Observation / Corrective Action
0820 A 2 Critical Bologna (59°F) in Pepsi refrigerator cold holding at improper temperatures. Sliced tomatoes stored at 78°F.
Relocate food to a refrigeration unit that is capable of maintaining food storage at 41°F or below. Moving bologna to Coke refrigerator. Slice tomatoes to be stored on drained ice.

Comments:
Permit expired April 30, 2009. Need review reapplication. Make needed changes, sign and date. Return to Health Dept. with $100.00 permit fee. Complete by 5/13/09.

0820 A 2 Corrected During Inspection Critical Bologna (46°F) cold holding at improper temperatures
Relocate food to a refrigeration unit that is capable of maintaining food storage at 41°F or below. Otherwise make sure refrigerator operating more efficently and/or at colder temperature, so that maintain proper food temperature.
2350 ii Flushing water not turned on for trough urinal in mens bathroom.
Turn water flow on so to keep urinal flushed.
3020 Soap was not provided at the hand washing lavatory in the infield mens bathroom handwash sink.
Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.

Comments:

0820 A 1 Corrected During Inspection Critical Hamburgers (119-124°F), in silver hot holding unit, hot holding at improper temperatures. Hot holding unit is running at 160°F ambient temperature.
Hot hold potentially hazardous food at 135°F or above to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
0820 A 2 Critical Sliced tomatoes (81°F) cold holding at improper temperatures
Relocate food to a refrigeration unit that is capable of maintaining food storage at 41°F or below.
2930 Self-closer is not attached to entry door.
Need to install functional self-closer.

Thanks girl that is somthing that I have always wondered about. I owned a food service well it was a bar and pub and I hade to go through alot of stuff to grt and keep mine I knew a few things and you posted all of them.
