Michael Tests at SOBO!!!!!!!

13 year old Michael McGuire of Vinton VA tested his Limited Late Model Stock Car at SOBO today.

This would be the first the first time the young speedster had seen the track. When all was said and done the young gun posted the 2nd fastest time in practice with all cars using SOBO's transponders.

McGuire was preparing to make a sticker run late in the day but let time slip up on them as time ran out on practice.

Michael plans on making his racing debut at SOBO this Saturday in the Limited race that will run on the same day as the USAR Pro CUP cars.

Plans had to be put on hold earlier in the week due to the illness of his Grand Dad Bill (Squeek) McGuire but he is recovering well and if he doesn't have a setback Michael will be at SOBO.
