Whats the deal?

The track waits till after all practise and everything to tell us that they are going to cut the purse what kind of deal is that?? If anybody is going to cut the pay they need to tell the drivers in the drivers meeting that way if they wann pack up and leave they have the chanse to.. I highly dought that we will be back this Sarurday night. I love racing at Franklin County and all and I hate to give up the point lead but but you cant race at a track and pay 120 dollars to get in the pits and get 75 dollars to finish 2nd.

damn i heard everyone got jipped last night and i didnt know what the deal was...i heard late model payed 250 to win..and ucar only payed 35 to win??

Yea its messed up that they did that.. My teammate may be back Saturday night but unless I am garanteed to get payed what he says they are going to pay then Im not coming back Saturday.. I may come back and run a few races throughout the year but its no use in coming up there and paying what we pay weekly to get in the pits and then they only pay us half of what they are surposed to.. And also it would be a smart thing for the track to make sure that they dont have officials and track promoters going around talking bad to drivers and calling drivers bad names and everything else.

Yea i have hurd several people say things and I know for a fact that when I was interviewed that they Called me crybaby smith wich its messed up but they are just hurting theirselves because there are more than one track around.

at least at 1 track i know of if it just rains the race out and do'nt even run a lap all day long u still get money just for showing up

I was there at The Fastest Circus Show (FCS) in the world last night. And I think I saw a clown and he was preachin! Then I notice they sold peanuts at the concessions. That must be for the !

Thats horrible. I'm glad i didn't go. I wouldn't be suprised if the place closed before the end of the year. There is no way he can keep treating drivers the way he is and expect them to come back.

Yep. Especially when there won't be any drivers to race against. Maybe one day someone will lease the track and get it back to where it once was.

i heard obama will lease the track....he will be there saturday for the obama stimulus 300!!!!

Why cry over the pay not being right, you are running for whitey now. Don't you expect it? And 8 ball, you are wasting breath saying you will not be there Saturday.

We would be happy to have any of the mod 4's at MMS. I finished 9th one week and 8th one week and got $100 each race. Winner pays $300 I think and you will get paid here. FCS is a good track but needs better operater.

I promise yauld that I wont be there this coming Saturday or the Saturday after because I know for a fact May 30th I will be racing at 311!!!! And yea we may come to motor mile and race a few times..

Thats right.....many of us old timers predicted what was going to happen on several racing forums what was going to happen.......I bet ole Mike Copeland over on RacersLounge is still happy with the great work the great WT is doing.......Trust me young uns it will get worse before it gets better.......I'm just looking forward to seeing one good show at FCS this year......Many Thanks to Left Turn Promotions for the hard work in not only putting together a quality race but also showing everyone that there are PLENTY of businesses that believe in FCS if it was ran alot better than it is now.

i am curious how you would do at mms 8ball...i will admit you are doin better than last year...you seem to be earning the points lead unlike the past

We seriously are going to try and talk to Motor Mile and see what all the dela is up therer and what all we would have to do to be able to run there because I would love to go up there and run and dont worry if we do come to Motor Mile I will make shore that I stop by the 21 pit. And yea cueball101 we finally got the car running right and I got the hang of running on asphlat now....

8ball all you would have to do is change your setup a little. I think we run the same tires that FCS does. Oh just one other little thing you would have to do and that is change your #. Sorry but we would still like to see you there.

We talked to the man at Motor Mile today and he said that we would have to weigh 2250 and there is now way that we can put that much weight on that 1800 motor and run competitive.
