Left Turn Promotions Announces Presenting Sponsor for the Old Dominion Shootout at Franklin County Speedway
Roanoke, VA—Left Turn Promotions is excited to announce that everythingcarts.com has agreed to become the presenting sponsor of the Old Dominion Shootout at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, VA on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st.
The 2nd Annual everythingcarts.com Old Dominion Shootout will feature a 125-lap Late Model Stock Car feature race. Top LMSC drivers in the area have been inquiring about the race that pays $2,000 to win. Rodney Cook, Jimmy Mullins, Michael McGuire, Mike Looney, Doug Williams, Eddie Young, Nathan Wheat, Buster Carroll, Nate Monteith, Kevin Smith, Bobby Griffin, Brad Kurth and many others have expressed their intentions of racing the LMSC race that day. Defending ODS champ Darrell Wallace, Jr. and three time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Champion Philip Morris have also been in discussions with Left Turn Promotions about running this big event.
A $500 to win Mod4/Mini Stock race, $200 to win UCAR race and the East Coast Flathead Ford Association cars are also on the schedule for a 4:00pm start.
General admission tickets are just $10 for adults with children 12 and under admitted for free. Pit gates open at 8:00am with grandstand gates opening at 10:30am. Practice for all divisions will begin at 10:30am and end at 1:30pm. Qualifying is slated to begin at 2:00pm for the Mod4/Mini Stock division to be immediately followed by LMSC time trials. A front stretch pit party will begin at 3:15pm and racing will start at 4:00pm start.
