Good Late Model Race

I thought the late model race was pretty good this week. First and second was close to each other about the whole race, wasn't sure who was gonna get the win till the checkerd flew. Wheat had to work a little harder than he did last week. Good Racing!

Yea hopefully there will be more cars next week and make it a better race!! Would be nice to see Rodney Cook come up and run a race or two!

I doubt you will see Rodney at FCS with the engine rules the way they are currently.

Yea it would be and it would probley be alot more cars there and alot of guys that raced there last year if he would pay them a little more than he does because them guys aint going to come and race for under $1000.

Did they make wheat and them put a chip in their car because i noticed that it was hitting a rev limiter or something every lap when he went down in turn 3 and 4 and it looked like it was killing him speed wise.

yeah they had the rev limiter in his car... according to the fcs website....

Dang that must suck for them because it shorely got the compitition alot closer to him saturday night. Should make for a good race this coming week.

the way im taking it, it must me a new rule they where it is required to have rev limiters to keep the guys that have rebuilt engines to blow em away and keep it more competative

Wheat was there last night practicing and he was hitting the chip going into 3 and 4 but i didn't hear him hit it in 1 and 2.

I didnt get to watch him practice the car i just got to see the race and it was hitting the rev limiter every lap going into 3 and 4 and then everynow and then it would do it going in 1 and 2 just not that often.

I heard there will be no chip/rev limiter rule anymore. wheat had a 63 and young was hitting his too, but it wont matter anymore.
