Rumors st FCS for 2010?

Been hearing a lot of rumors flying around for the 2010 season, does anyone want to share their favorite?
Who is in place for next year as far as promotions? Are they going to run? Is Whitey coming back?
Lets hear them all!

....quite a few folks came to me at MMS Saturday and said they had heard Left Turn Promotions was going to run the show at FCS in 2010. That is news to me....but I would entertain the idea if the right pieces were in place.

That would be the best thing that could happen to the track. That I could run some there

I'm sure if left turn promotions toke it over for next year i could get Anthony down there a couple times if the purse was good enough and there was a set of rules similar to mms limited's!!!

well if WT does run it next year it will be shut down and whiteys world wont be whiteys world it will be a deads world

tony told me that Lee H. was interested in leasing the speedway next year...it could happen i hear he had a $80,000 invested in a late model

If, and that is a very HUGE IF, Left Turn Promotions were able to lease the track in 2009, these are the divisions we would probably run:

Late Model Stock Car: Motor Mile Rulebook
Street Stock: Motor Mile Rulebook
Mod4: Motor Mile Rulebook
UCAR: NO IMPORTS Motor Mile Rulebook
Limited Sportsman : Motor Mile Rulebook

I really think the way for FCS to make it is to work with Motor Mile, South Boston, Caraway, Ace, etc. Definitely not against them. The purse for each division would be fair, but not astronomical. You can bet if we tell you that you will get paid a certain amount, you will get paid that amount!!

I also think a week off every once in a while helps the racers amid the rough state of the economy. Running on weeks Motor Mile is off is a very good idea.

Just rambling on a Friday guys. I wished I could have just one season to see if I would be a success or failure at this race promoter gig. I was definitely pleased with The Old Dominion Shootout. The way it came off gives me the desire to try it again.

Of course, getting Mr. Taylor to agree to it is the hardest part.

well i think you should make a regular class and then a import class i know if you would do this but more money and plus i would bring two different ucars

I say that the track should mimic motormile in every way. I understand the purse couldn't be so big but i'm sure whoever takes it over could make some money.

Ucars-Motor Mile rules......No Imports.....1500.00 claim rule on the car if it wins 3 in a row......drivers can run no more than 2 years before having to move up to any other division.Get the class back to what its supposed to be a division for new drivers to keep grass roots racing alive.......no more of this people having more in a Ucar than some do in a Mini Stock.

It would be great if Left Trun Promotions takes over the track and runs it next year but you would and should make a few acceptions to the rules that way you could have some more cars in some divisions no major changes just several small changes. And yea i would say that it would be smart to run 2 different ucar classes if you wasnt going to alow imports.

Also I hightly dought that anybody has the same amount in a ucar as it would be to build a ministock. I mean i have never saw a ucar that somebody has 10,000+ in because thats what it would cost just to build a new ministock.

man why do people dis on hondas??? are yall just jealous because hondas are out running everything in ucar i mean people like to see all kinds of cars battle

Anyone who has $10,000 in a mini stock is crazy......for that you could have bought Rodney Cook's #14 Late Model chassis from last year for $4,500 and put a new crate motor in it and be racing for way less than $10,000 JMO

Well if you build a new car you will have atleast that much in it....... no joke

The only reason there is money in a U-car is because we get our car torn up a lot and having to put more in it to fix it.

I'm a fan of budget racing!!!!! Just get me a car and i'll race it i don't care how it looks or how much money is in it as long as its safe and can run decent i could care less. A good driver can win whether he has $1,000 in a car or $10,000. JMO.

No matter what you run you have to keep putting money into it to keep racing.
