McGuire makes it two in a row at Orange County Speedway

Michael McGuire of Vinton VA made it two in a row last night June 13th 2009 by capturing his second win at Orange County Speedway.
The day started off on a upnote with McGuire right at the top of the speed charts in both practices in the Limited Late Model division.When qualifying was complete Michael had placed 3rd. Orange County inverts the top six cars everyone in the top six then pulls a number, McGuire pulled the 6 pill. Starting sixth is a tough starting position at one of the hardest places to pass but McGuire wasted no time and proved he was up to the task and by Lap 20 he put a beautiful move on Joey Throckmorton for the lead. Mcguire would have to survive three caution flags after he took the lead but was never seriously challenged for the lead.
Plans this week is to test at Lonesome Pine Raceway and if the driver and the car are up to the task McGuire intends on making his first start at LPR in the Late Model Race.
